In May 2024 I started volunteering in Beate Geissler and Katelyn Pattons Art Garden at UIC, and when I started in the UIC ART MFA program I became the facilitator of the garden through a Sustainability Award funded by students at UIC. Last seasons harvest produced the flowers needed for CMYK emulsions for Inside Light, mint for multiple mint film developing workshops, and film work made in my art practice, as well as but not limited to beets, gourds, indigo, coreopsis, scabiosa, hollyhock, and kenaf for paper making.
